Creamy Vanilla Panna Cotta with Sweet Berry Compote

A silky vanilla panna cotta, perfectly complemented by a luscious berry compote—pure indulgence in every mouthful!

INGREDIENTS

• 1 ½ cups heavy cream

• ½ cup milk

• ½ cup sugar

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 2 ½ tsp gelatine powder

• 3 tbsp water

 

Sweet Berry Compote:

• 1 cup mixed berries

• 2 tbsp sugar

• 1 tbsp water

• 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

 

Method

1. Sprinkle the gelatine evenly over 3 tbsp of cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom, allowing the gelatine to absorb the water and soften

2. In a saucepan, heat cream, milk and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3. Stir in bloomed gelatine and vanilla until fully dissolved and smooth.

4. Pour into 4 cups and refrigerate for 4 hours.

5. Make Berry Compote: Simmer berries, sugar, water and lemon juice for 5-7 minutes until thickened. Allow to cool.

6. Gently spoon the sweet berry compote over the panna cotta, allowing the vibrant berries to create an elegant and tempting finish!
